From Drilling to Production

Production Facilities.
Ballard owns and/or operates a wide assortment of natural gas and crude oil production facilities. We work along side the producer in planning, assessing, constructing and installing the facilities required to bring the well on to production.

As more and more pipelines continue to modify their gas quality specifications, the design and maintenance of advanced, effective treating facilities has become a vital part of the producer’s operations. Pictured to the top right is a central treating facility installed and operated by Ballard to lower the hydrocarbon dew point of BECI’s Channelview production. Our treating facilities ensure the flow of gas and offer the producer an economically attractive alternative to pipeline and plant conditioning fees.

BECI’s Sabine Lake production, pictured to the bottom right, passes through the Sabine Lake Onshore Separation Facility, located in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana and operated by Ballard. The facility was designed to centrally separate natural gas and condensate transported onshore from the surrounding Sabine Lake production platforms. The facility is currently being utilized by four producers/operators and can be quickly expanded to meet additional needs. The facility is connected to Williams Gas Pipeline-Transco upstream of Station 45.
