From Production to Pipeline
Pipeline Construction.
Ballard provides producers its years of experience and proven track record in constructing, laying and operating gathering lines and gathering systems. We again work closely with the producer in planning, permitting and negotiating the right-of-way to connect the well to the most economically viable market(s). Discussions are specific as to design, quality and size of the pipeline. We take great pride in our workmanship meeting or exceeding the producer’s requirements and expectations.
Operating along the onshore Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast, we have experience in railroad, highway, river and canal crossings, as well as, experience operating in and around environmentally sensitive areas and designated wetlands. Shown below is pipeline construction in which Ballard directionally drilled over 12,000 feet to connect BECI’s Temple Inland “A” No.1 to its gathering system located in Jefferson County, Texas. The gathering system was connected to both Enterprise’s and Duke Energy Field Services’ pipelines to provide dual-connect marketing options and create a more competitive pricing environment.
