Natural Gas and Crude Oil Marketing.
Ballard has long-standing business relationships with many pipeline companies and natural gas and crude oil purchasers. We negotiate all aspects of our marketing arrangements from the producer’s perspective focusing on such variables as:

>> Pipeline options and operating conditions including operating pressures, gas quality specifications, and any capacity constraints.

>> Trucking/hauling operations, reliability, timeliness and accuracy.

>> Purchaser credit and financial stability.

>> Downstream processing options or requirements.

>> Downstream transmission pipeline interconnects and/or marketing hubs and the availability and cost of interruptible and/or firm transportation.

>> Pipeline imbalances and penalties.

>> Pricing flexibility, including monthly, daily, and hedging options.

>> Timely and accurate payment and statements.

Our marketing objective is to achieve the highest possible price back to the wellhead giving consideration to each of the above variables and any other specific need(s) unique to a producer. We continuously review and monitor the terms of all of our agreements to ensure they remain the best possible alternative under dynamic market conditions.

Above all, we work closely with the producer in an environment of complete transparency to ensure that our perspective is your perspective.
